CARF Guide to Accessibility 2004
This publication provides an overview of accessibility issues and legislation for organizations that need to develop accessibility plans and evaluate the accessibility of their facilities, programs and services in order to provide quality services and meet legal requirements. It is also intended for CARF surveyors, who are responsible for surveying organizations and services to assess their level of conformance to the CARF standards, including those dealing with accessibility. Consumers and family member may use this publication to become more informed of accessibility issues, while management may find it valuable in inservice training for staff members.
