Who is Disabled?

A documentary film by Jones Obuadey in which parents from Ghana, Africa tell their stories about the stigma attached to having a child with an intellectual handicap
Jones comes from Somanya, a village in the Eastern region of Ghana. During his primary education at the Reverend John Teye Memorial Institute, he was a member of the school band that represented Africa in the Harrogate International Music Festival in 1993 and also in Shrewsbury in 1996 in the United Kingdom. Afterwards, he gained admission into Presby Boys Secondary School Legon, where he studied visual art for three years from 1997 to 1999.
He started working as a pianist at the Novotel, Golden Tulip, and La Palm Royal Beach Hotel while he studied sound at the Audio Vision Lab in Accra. He is currently studying the art of filmmaking at the Academy of Screen Arts in Ghana. Who Is Disabled? is his first film.
