Sexuality, Marriage and Relationships

Why This Is Important

Human sexuality is a fundamental, driving principle of every life, and most people seek and cherish intimacy. Everyone is entitled to a basic understanding of how bodies develop and how our reproductive systems work. Everyone is entitled to the opportunity to explore and express their individual sexual needs, tastes and preferences within the context of respect for oneself and others. Everyone should have the opportunity to develop meaningful and intimate relationships with others and to engage in long-term loving relationships. We will expand the concept of the basic need for sexual expression to include dating and marriage among people with disabilities and how service providers may support this so that they are even more fully included in their communities.

The sexuality store features curricula, programs and resources for guiding one's path to greater understanding and deeper personal satisfaction.
