This department will include products related to national initiatives aimed at making significant changes to service systems based on person-centered principles. These products may include articles or reports about innovations in state or local government planning, regulations, statutes, or other activities that support person-centered practices. Some examples of these initiatives might include efforts to decrease waiting lists, mandates to develop individually tailored services, or programs that support and/or develop self-advocacy.
